Frequently Asked Questions
Are there any MLS Fees?
Maybe. Every MLS is different and may or may not charge member and/or vendor fees to obtain the RETS feed required to power the Lead Capture Chatbot. Any fees charged by the MLS is considered a pass through cost and will be the responsibility of the client. Automabots does not profit from these fees.
Does the Chatbot work on my site?
The website Chatbot uses a standard Javascript embed code that should be compatible with your website. The only known issue is Market Leader, which does not support Javascript to be used on their platform.
How long does it take to get my Chatbot setup?
It depends on whether or not we are live in your MLS market. If we are active, then you can expect it to be live in two (2) weeks or less. If you are in a market that is already in our development queue, will take approximately between three (3) to 6 weeks to complete. If you are requesting a brand new market, our current MLS development waiting list is seven (7) weeks out. You can check availability here.
Why do I need a Twilio account and how much does it cost?
Twilio is an SMS platform that facilitates text messaging between the cell phone carriers and our Chatbot. It is required to enable text alerts and direct chatbot texting. It cost $1 per month for a local phone number and $0.0075 per send and receive.
Are there additional costs?
There may be associated MLS fees, which includes setup and/or monthly fees. In addition, you will be required to set up a Twilio account for SMS text service. It is the Local Connectivity option.

Yes. All accounts are supported by online, email or phone support depending on the plan you choice.
How to set up the bot?
You will be assigned a project manager that will assist you in getting the Bot setup.

Can I change Plans or cancel at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel anytime with a 30 day written notice to [email protected] If you decide to upgrade within 180 days of signing up, you will be responsible for paying the difference in setup fees. After the 180 day period ends, no additional setup will applies.
